This night I pray to God above Please protect the ones I love May my course be true and the winds never fail In this world of cold gray steel Let it not trap what inside I feel As I travel across the sea Please don't feel remorse for me For this is the road I have chosen to take. May I leave good memories in my wake And when I finally set ashore I will have experienced more than ever before There might be times when the sea is rough But it can also be as gentle as a dove. Till the day I lower my sails I know one thing that will never fail A family's love for each other. |
